This mutation of Jonagold, discovered on a farm in Belgium, has become the most popular Jonagold strain in Europe. Jonagored® develops 80-85% dark red color at maturity. Fruit stores very well and has good quality. Dessert apple. Needs several other varieties for good pollination.
